The Super Fringie ~ Cricket’s Creations
|
|
Tonight I shot a couple with Natalie and Cricket’s Creations Super Fringie ($75 from Etsy)! This 1000 or so string of awesomeness is really easy to work with any age of child. Natalie is 19 months old and the many strings of neutral colors kept her entertained (as much as possible) while I managed to get a couple pictures of the product.
It’s very, very easy to manipulate. For these pictures I simply tossed the fringie over a wrought iron magazine holder, and stuck Nan in the middle. I am really into moody light now, so to recreate this look, should you want too, you’ll need an extra-large octagon light sitting on the floor, directly behind you. I did not have a diffuser over it, just straight on light. Now, Natalie isn’t much of a studio model, so I realize these images aren’t the best of the best, but it’s enough to get the idea across.
(I created the above setup with the Strobox Application for the iPhone. If you hold down the power off button and push the home screen button on the bottom, it will take a snapshot of what you are currently viewing! Neat huh!)
Anyway, I totally recommend Cricket’s Super Fringie! Hop on over to her Etsy and check it out. She also has a blog that has a good amount of pictures for examples, and a Flickr!
